Add, edit, remove and organise the people your campaigns send to.
Ways to add leads
Upload a CSV: choose the file and click Upload, then match your columns to fields.
Add from a lead list: pick a list from the Leads Engine and click Add.
Add lead: add one person by hand, with optional custom variables such as an icebreaker.
On the Overview tab, Recipients lets you add a list with filters like industry, job title or company.
Required details
Every lead needs a first name, a last name and an email address, however it is added. When you upload a CSV, match a column to First name and one to Last name (or one to Full name). Rows without them are skipped and counted in the message you see afterwards.
What gets skipped
Suppressed addresses, duplicates and people contacted recently by another campaign are skipped automatically, so nobody gets the same email twice.
The Leads page: edit, remove or move leads
Open Leads in the menu to see everyone in every campaign, or a campaign's Leads tab for one campaign.
Filter by campaign, list or status, or search by email, name or company.
Click the pencil on a row to correct a name, company or other detail. The email can only change before anything was sent to it.
Click the bin to take someone out of their campaign.
Tick several rows to move them to a list (or a new one) or remove them together.
1 Add lead. 2 Edit. 3 Remove. 4 Tick rows to move or remove them together.
Track progress
Use the status filter to see, for example, everyone who replied.
Each row shows the current step, when the last email went out and when they replied.
Who you're contacting, on the campaign Overview, shows prospect quality and company concentration.
Tips
Extra CSV columns become custom variables you can use in your emails.
Verify addresses in the Leads Engine before adding them, to keep your bounce rate low.
