Schedule, mailboxes, daily volume, tracking and safety options for one campaign.
What it is
The Settings tab of a campaign holds everything about how and when it sends, in one column of cards. The Overview tab holds only the content.
Use the links at the top (Campaign, Schedule, Sending, Tracking and delivery, Advanced, Additional) to jump to a card. Click Save settings at the bottom when you are done.
Schedule
Timezone: the timezone your sending days and window use.
Start: As soon as it is launched, or On a date and time you pick.
Sending days and Sending window: for example Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00. Nothing is sent outside them.
Best time to send: a chart of reply rate by hour. Once the campaign has sent, click the Use button to apply the suggested window.
Recipient's local time: send within each person's own working hours when their timezone is known.
1 Timezone. 2 Start now or on a date. 3 Sending days. 4 Sending window.
Sending
Senders: pick mailboxes from the list, or choose By tag to use every active mailbox with that tag.
Daily limit per mailbox: how many emails each mailbox sends a day, follow-ups included. 20 is recommended.
Increase gradually: starts at 5 emails a day per mailbox and adds 2 each day until it reaches the daily limit. The table shows the plan day by day.
New people per day, Gap between emails and Order let you slow things down or contact the strongest prospects first.
1 Mailboxes. 2 Daily limit per mailbox. 3 Increase gradually.
Tracking and delivery
Track opens and Track clicks are off by default. They need HTML emails.
Send emails as text only is on by default. Plain text lands in the inbox more often, but opens and clicks cannot be tracked. Turning tracking on turns text only off, and the other way round.
Validate emails before sending checks each address once and skips invalid ones. It needs an email verifier connected in Settings, Integrations.
A/B testing sends more of the version that gets more replies.
1 Open and click tracking. 2 Text only.
Advanced: safety and provider routing
Click Show advanced options to open the card.
Match sender and recipient providers, so Gmail recipients get mail from a Google mailbox and Outlook recipients from Microsoft.
Provider routing: click Add custom rule to choose which mailbox providers may send to which recipients, for example from Google, Send, to Google.
Bounce limit pauses the campaign if bounces pass a set rate (5% by default).
Per company limits how many people at one company are contacted, for example 2 people every 7 days.
Re-contact cooldown sets how many days pass before another campaign can email the same person.
1 Provider routing rules. 2 Bounce limit. 3 Per company limit. 4 Re-contact cooldown.
